NRP Policy Board election

The Community Connections Conference June 10 will kick off the Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP) Policy Board election process. At the conference, attendees can:

  • Learn about the NRP Policy Board. Policy board members consider neighborhood action plans for spending NRP funds, create funding recommendations for NRP funds, and advise the City on policies affecting NRP-funded organizations.
  • Nominate themselves to run for the NRP Policy Board.
  • Connect with neighborhood organizations participating in the conference.
Voting for the NRP Policy Board

Voting for policy board members will open June 18. Any Minneapolis resident over 16 with proof of residency can vote for district representative candidates for the district the voter lives in and for one at-large representative.

A voter can vote June 18-July 15 in person or by email.

  • In person: A voter can cast a ballot 9:45 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Neighborhood & Community Relations office, 105 Fifth Ave. S., Room 425.
  • By email: A voter can send an email to ncr@minneapolismn.gov naming their choice of candidate(s) and including an electronic copy of proof of residency.
The City Council’s Public Health & Safety Committee will vote June 7 on the district boundaries and election procedures with a full City Council vote June 15.
