A Glenwood resident has been indicted on charges related to child sexual abuse material, as announced by U.S. Attorney Andrew M. Luger.
Court documents reveal that Patrick Wayne Baker, 51, allegedly recorded six minors between January 21, 2020, and June 3, 2024, with the intention of producing sexually explicit images. Baker faces two counts of production of child pornography and three counts of receipt of child pornography.
Baker appeared before Magistrate Judge Tony N. Leung in U.S. District Court on November 26, 2024.
The investigation involved the Pope County Sheriff’s Office, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
Assistant U.S. Attorney William C. Mattessich is handling the prosecution.
"An indictment is merely an allegation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law."
