The City of Minneapolis is seeking applications for the Blue Line Extension Community Advisory Committee (CAC) and Business Advisory Committee (BAC). These committees serve as voices of the residents and businesses in the project corridor by advising the Metropolitan Council and Hennepin County on how the project can best serve the neighborhoods and businesses near the line.
With the Metropolitan Council and Hennepin County’s endorsement of the recommended route for the Metro Blue Line Extension light rail project in late June, the project is moving forward with its environmental, design, anti-displacement, and public engagement work. To help guide this work, the project team needs your perspectives.
Applications are due at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29. For more information and to apply, visit the City's project webpage or contact Brey Golding at Breyonne.Golding@minneapolismn.gov.
The METRO Blue Line Extension light rail transit project will extend the existing Blue Line from Target Field Station northwest to Brooklyn Park and connect communities along the way.
