Basilica Of Saint Mary Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Dec. 16.

In our weekly video series "Art That Surrounds Us," Johan van Parys, Ph.D., our Director of Liturgy and Sacred Arts, shares information about a piece from The Basilica of Saint Mary's art collection. 

Johan tells us about one of the most intriguing pieces of art in our collection, our Madonna quilt. It was made by Lynn Zetzman in 1988, during a time when she was grieving the passing of her mother and also journeying toward Catholicism.
