Minneapolis home prices rise in April 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in Minneapolis rose by $7,000 while total sales increased by 1.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were 453 homes sold, with a median sale price of $268,000 - a 2.7% increase over the $261,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 446 homes sold in Minneapolis in April 2018.

The median sales tax in Minneapolis for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,968, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for April 2019.
