The University of Minnesota women’s rowing team will compete at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis during rescheduled dates for the 2026 Big Ten Rowing Championships due to weather concerns. The squad brings experience from recent successes and individual honors into an expanded field featuring several nationally ranked teams.
Minnesota advanced three rowing crews to Sunday’s Grand Finals at the Big Ten Championships after strong performances on Friday evening in Indianapolis. Schedule changes were made due to expected bad weather.
Aiva Schmitz and Mia Liepert have been selected for the CSC Academic All-District Women’s Tennis Team for their achievements both on court and in academics at Minnesota. Both athletes earned their second career selections while contributing significantly during recent seasons.
