On Saturday, March 22, former Southwest High School standout Virginia Johnson’s current collegiate team the Smith Pioneers lost 77-49 against the NYU Violets in the NCAA Division III Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Cregger Center, this was the first game against the NYU Violets during the championship.
