A large Eid al-Adha prayer service at the Minneapolis Convention Center is expected to draw thousands of people into Downtown. People driving during the morning rush should expect to experience some additional traffic.

The event begins at 6 a.m. on June 27, 2023. People who need to drive into Downtown for work or other events should expect heavy traffic around the Convention Center, plan alternative routes and allow for extra travel time.

The prayer service ends at 11 a.m., so afternoon traffic should not be affected.

People heading to the prayer service can use Convention Center parking options.
