On April 25, Rep. Omar met with Stephen Schneck, Imam Mohamed Magid, Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum, and former Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA), all Commissioners with the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF.)
The Congresswoman and the Commissioners discussed USCIRF’s upcoming annual report, the rise of antisemitism and Islamophobia globally, and threats to religious freedom in India, China, Burma, Iran, Nigeria, and the Central African Republic. They also discussed the current violence in Sudan.
