The Zero Waste Lifestyle: a talk with Kimberly Haroldson
Join Kimberly Haroldson to learn how to recycle correctly on Saturday, November 19, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Northfield Public Library, 210 Washington Street. Haroldson will answer questions on what items can be recycled, what is wish recycling, and what happens to your pop can once it’s picked up from your curb.
Haroldson is a Hennepin County master recycler/master composter, New York City Zero Waste Academy alumni, St Louis Park recycle champion, and Rice County master recycler/master composter.
Haroldson successfully lives a Zero Waste lifestyle, a lifestyle that produces little garbage. She is passionate about helping individuals and communities achieve waste reduction. During her Zero Waste journey, she co-founded the organization Zero Waste Advocates of Minnesota. Haroldson has spoken in numerous communities, and facilitated environmental changes through communication and collaboration with local and state government officials.
