Community engagement partners sought for unarmed public safety response pilots

The City of Minneapolis is looking to partner with creative thinkers and human-centered design professionals with a heart for community engagement. The Office of Performance & Innovation (OPI) Request for Proposals (RFP) is to identify unarmed public safety response pilots for a subset of 911 calls.

The selected individuals, groups, or organizations must have documented demonstration of equitable community engagement that is inclusive and understands the experiences, needs, and desires of Black, Indigenous, people of color, and other underrepresented cultural communities in Minneapolis.

To view the RFP and submit a proposal, you must first register for the Target Market Program.

Completed applications are due by 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2022.
