City of Eden Prairie issued the following announcement on March 25.
Be part of the team that brightens up Eden Prairie parks this spring!
The City's Park Clean-Up Day is from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23. The event is suitable for kids and adults, and it's a great outdoor activity for families and service groups.
View the interactive map to locate an area that is accessible for cleaning, and sign up by Thursday, April 21. Some larger parks can have more than one group work the area, and groups will be spaced out accordingly.
Like in previous years, the City provides gloves and trash bags. A range of glove sizes will be available for youth and adults.
Groups meet in the morning at their respective parks using the map to guide their cleanup. The map is also used at the end of the event to find trash drop-off locations, and City employees pick up bags when the event is over.
About Signing Up
There may be an area marked as “reserved” on the interactive map, but still has available group slots. Refer to the SignUpGenius form for up-to-date reservation openings. The interactive map will be updated consistently as the SignUpGenius form is completed, but there may be some lag time.
