The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Minneapolis rose by $1,500 while total sales increased by 91.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 980 homes sold, with a median sale price of $315,000 - a 0.5% increase over the $313,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 512 homes sold in Minneapolis in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Minneapolis for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,937, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
