Protesters are calling for the resignation of Minneapolis Police Federation President Bob Kroll.
The group met Sunday outside of Kroll's house to protest, KSTP 5 Eyewitness News reported. The demonstrators are calling for his resignation because they have accused Kroll of "fostering a toxic culture," in the police department, KSTP reported.
This isn't the first time people have called for his resignation. It first began after the killing of George Floyd on May 25.
"Here in Hugo, Minnesota, I'm going to take a wild guess and take it you don't have to fear for your life as much as you do in Minneapolis with Bob Kroll and his gang of thugs hunting down Black and brown bodies like they're getting paid for it because they are," Toussaint Morrison, an activist at the demonstration, told KSTP.
The Police Federation gave no response when KSTP 5 Eyewitness News reached out the them on the situation.
