Lake Harriet United Methodist Church issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
More Outdoor Wednesday Worship Services!
Wednesdays, August 19, September 2, 16, 30, 6:30p
Please join us for our outdoor worship services on select upcoming Wednesdays! (Planned to be held in the church courtyard. If participation numbers are high we will move the service to the parking lot where there is plenty of room for social distancing).
The service will be 30-40 minutes and include prayer, a mini-sermon, and the first ever rainbow bells play along! All are also invited to bring their own portable instruments (guitar, shakers, tambourine, recorder, etc.) to help make music together!
Important details: We will practice social distancing. Family units may sit together, while others will be seated six feet apart. Bring your own chair/blanket and water bottle. Masks are required. Hand sanitizer and extra masks will be available. The playground will not be open before or during the worship service.
