Minneapolis Public Schools issued the following announcement on July 24.
On Tuesday, July 28, the MPS Board of Directors will meet virtually from 6 pm to discuss the MPS learning outline this fall. The MPS Phases for Safe Learning outlines the various ways MPS can reach and teach our students in the face of the current COVID pandemic. This meeting will be held a few days before listening to Governor Walz's guidance, now scheduled for Thursday, July 30 We hope to share with students, families and staff more specific information about how MPS will proceed after the Governor's announcement.
