Minneapolis home prices rise in May 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2020 in Minneapolis rose by $12,000 while total sales decreased by 54.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2020, there were 259 homes sold, with a median sale price of $304,000 - a 4.1% increase over the $292,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 568 homes sold in Minneapolis in May 2019.

The median sales tax in Minneapolis for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,937, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for May 2020.
