KIPP North Star Academy issued the following announcement on May 8.
A message from a KIPP North Star Academy student to their teachers:
"Hello KIPP teachers, I hope you are all doing ok during this terrible pandemic. I hope you guys are staying safe, and staying in the house. I just wanted to email all of you guys to say thank you for doing your best to keep us learning, even if we are not in a classroom. So if it happens that we are not able to go back to school for the rest of the year, just know that you guys are all my favorite teachers. You all help me understand that learning is everywhere, people learn new things every day, even you."
