Minneapolis home prices rise in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Minneapolis rose by $13,700 while total sales increased by 19.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were 489 homes sold, with a median sale price of $248,700 - a 5.8% increase over the $235,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 409 homes sold in Minneapolis in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Minneapolis for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,968, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for September 2018.
