Minneapolis home prices rise in December 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2018 in Minneapolis rose by $31,750 while total sales increased by 14.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2018, there were 388 homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,500 - a 14.5% increase over the $218,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 338 homes sold in Minneapolis in December 2017.

The median sales tax in Minneapolis for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,968, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for December 2018.
