Minneapolis home prices rise in February 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2019 in Minneapolis rose by $20,500 while total sales increased by 21.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2019, there were 296 homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,000 - a 8.9% increase over the $229,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 243 homes sold in Minneapolis in February 2018.

The median sales tax in Minneapolis for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,968, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for February 2019.
