Minneapolis Public Schools issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
Minneapolis Public Schools will observe Winter Break Dec. 23 - Jan. 3. All schools are closed during these two weeks and will reopen on Jan. 6, 2020.
Dec. 24 - 25, and Dec. 31 - Jan. 1 are district holidays. All offices and buildings - including the Davis Center, Student Placement Office, and New Families Center - are closed on these days.
The Student Placement Services Office (North Minneapolis) will be closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 2. It will be open Dec. 23, Jan. 2 and Jan. 3.
The New Families Center (South Minneapolis) will be open through winter break (Dec. 23, Dec. 26 - 27, Dec. 30, and Jan. 2 -3), excluding district holidays.
