There were 2,369 Minnesota residents who died of chronic lower respiratory disease (CLRD) in 2016, a 0.8 percent increase over the previous year, according to data obtained from the National Center for Health Statistics.

In 2015, 2,351 Minnesota residents died of CLRD.
